Join our chorus
We love having an audience at our regular rehearsals, as it helps us better prepare for upcoming performances. Guest singers are always welcome to visit, and we strongly encourage you to sing with us to experience the kind of work we do and the musical rewards that come with it.
Our audition process is straightforward:
- First, attend three consecutive rehearsals to get a feel for how the Spirit of St. Louis Chorus operates.
- Second, pass a simple vocal audition by singing our audition song, "Heart of My Heart," in a quartet for our music team.
- Third, apply for membership with the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Once you’ve joined, you’ll be expected to learn our repertoire and come prepared for every rehearsal and concert.
To audition, you'll sing your part to "Heart of My Heart" in a quartet. You can use the provided sheet music (to the right) during the audition. Our music team will listen for correct words and notes, as well as vocal tone that blends well with the chorus.
